A must see for any veteran or relative of a veteran, particularly of the air services. As the granddaughter of a World War II vet who flew gliders and other aircraft during the war I found it particularly interesting to see items that men just like him held and worked with during the war.
Its a very nice air museum. It’s not very big but it is worth visiting. The museum people are very knowledgeable and they explain a lot of things about the past to the visitors.
A wonderful collection of vintage aircraft and military ephemera presented in an interesting and clear manner. Many items related to the World War II.
For a small museum it was great. What's even better yet they will be moving into part of old Ford B-24 manufacturing plant, of World War II, in the future. My kids and I loved it. It is the worth stop. They even have free posters, which I gave a donation for. And the volunteers and staff are very friendly. One of the volunteers gave us a personal tour of museum.
Enjoyed a great tour of the museum, and was allowed to sit inside the cockpit of a refueling plane. There were some interactive exhibits that taught flight mechanics and those were fun to play with.
Great museum, they have a lot of aircraft packed into the one small hangar. The staff were very friendly and talkative. An enjoyable trip.
